Once again in the search for specialties found .
We had the opportunity to buy 2 very large logs poplar burl .
Our expectations have been more than fulfilled .
Great grained planks in 80 mm thickness, 2.50 m long and up to 1.10 m wide.
We still allow these exceptional planks some time to dry , but probably early in the summer it is so far .
From a wood moisture of about 25%, we will technically accelerate the drying process in a drying chamber and about 6 weeks later
can knowledgeable hands from these “thick boards” e.g. beautiful tabletops arise.
